Aloha Urology was founded by Dr. Garry Peers in May of 2008. Dr. Peers , a fellowship trained urologic surgeon, an a well respected phusician in the community recruited Dr. Tim Roytman to join the practice. Dr. Roytman joined Aloha Urology in 2011 after completing urological surgery residency and fellowship in robotic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Andrew Sun will be joining Aloha Urology in August 2020.
Dr. Peers, Dr. Roytman and Dr. Sun treat a full spectrum of urological conditions and offer their patients up to date surgical and medical treatments. Our particular focus is on urological oncology, stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), female urology and male fertility. A full range of open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques are offered to our patients as appropriate.
Aloha Urology is the only practice in Hawaii with a certified urology Ambulatory Surgery Center. This provides convenience for our patients just being steps away from our physician office. Aloha Urology and the surgery center provide MRI Fusion biopsy for the prostate cancer, Urolifts for BPH, and for our radiation oncology patients we do SpaceOAR. Also, the surgery center provides out patient procedures such as cystoscopies, and urodynamic lab.
